An endowment is one of the most powerful gifts you can create for Texas A&M University. It is an amazing philanthropic tool that allows you to create an impact in Aggieland that lasts not just a few years, but generations. Endowments are a critical component of the Texas A&M Foundation’s mission to build a brighter future for Texas A&M, because they guarantee that financial support will remain readily available for the future needs of Aggieland and its students.
The TAMU Women’s Club currently has six endowed opportunity award scholarships funded at $25,000 each through the Texas A&M Foundation. A scholarship is given to a senior student at each of the six BCS High Schools. They each receive the same amount of scholarship money which is $1,250 per school year. For a student to receive additional funds, the endowment would need to increase another $25,000. The student would then receive $2,500 from the $50,000 endowment. Please join us in our goal to increase of our six endowments.
The Texas A&M University Women’s Club is an active part of the Aggie community, providing numerous social events, service projects, philanthropic activities and networking opportunities for women connected to the university. When you join our club, and pay your dues, please be sure to include your donation for the scholarship fund. We have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.
Thank you so much!
